Starting Point Montessori
"Where The Leaders of Tomorrow are In Class Today"

The Five Steps
We believe there are five steps to true learning. For every beginner, progress must take place at their own pace - and with guidance and patience. These important tools are shown by the directresses, and given to each child within an area conducive to exploration, discovery and growth. Please explore the information and links below to find more information on our educational goals and practices.
Learning At Their Own Pace
Children at Starting Point Montessori are encouraged to explore, investigate and fulfill their natural curiosity about the world around them. Under the careful guidance of our certified directors and directresses, children develop at their own pace and learn that school can be an unending adventure - one that inspires a lifetime of discovery.
Child Development
The development of personal dignity and ability in each child - no matter how young - is one of the most valuable and permanent benefits of a Starting Point education.
Teachers
Our teachers are called directresses and directors. Each is a certified Montessori teacher who has earned a teaching certificate and completed hundreds of hours of specialized training and instruction.
Classroom
When you walk into a Starting Point Montessori classroom, the first thing you will notice is that everyone is busy and interested in what they are doing.
Montessori Materials
Classic Montessori materials make learning irresistible.
